The final lessons of the 2023-2024 studio year are the week of June 10th.  The studio is closed June 17 through June 28.  I will be attending the WSMTA conference in Spokane and working on lesson plans.  Summer lessons begin the week of July 1st!

May 2024

We are beginning to wrap up things in the studio.  Reminder: The studio is closed May 27 for Memorial Day.

April 2024

As we enjoy the season of spring (remember April showers bring May flowers), keep practicing!  Plateaus are common in music study and if it seems as if not much is "growing" pianistically, keep sprinkling the fertile ground with practice time.  Soon the music flowers will be blooming!

Just a reminder that the studio is closed March 14 through March 22 so that I may attend the MTNA National Conference in Atlanta.

This month we celebrate Valentine's Day.  How about presenting your special Valentine with a musical "card"--a performance of your favorite piece of the week!

Welcome to the New Year! Lessons resume on January 8th.  Let's chase away the winter chill with some fabulous music making!  This is a great time to set some new practice goals for the month.  Remember a practice session each day (even a short one) will speed you along faster than cramming practice into a day or two before your lesson!

While it has been dark, gloomy and wet outside, I hope the holiday music of the season is brightening your days!  Just a reminder that the studio will be closed for the holidays December 21 through January 5.  Lessons will resume in 2024 the week of January 8th.  Enjoy the season!!

The holiday season is approaching quickly.  We will begin some seasonal music. soon  Mark your calendars--no lessons November 21-24 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
