Theory test results are in!! Congratulations students--the studio average was 97%!!!
Level 1: Camelia, Chelsea and Katherine all had 100% and received high honors.
Level 2: Sierra and Abraham both had 100% and received high honors. Emi receive an honors rating.
Level 3: Emily had 100% and received high honors.
Level 5: Arielle received an honors rating and Julian received an excellent rating.
Level 6: Kayla scored 100% and received high honors. Grace received an honors rating.

MTNA Conference April 2-6, 2016--studio closed, lessons resume April 11, 2016.

Congratulations Arielle, Grace and Kayla for your outstanding performances at the Chapter Honors Competition. Kayla received 4th Ranked Honorable Mention and will be performing on the Fine Arts Recital March 12.

Wishing all of you Happy Holidays. The studio is closed for lessons from December 22 until January 4, 2016. Lessons will resume Monday, January 4, 2016 on the regular studio schedule.

The summer has flown by!! We welcomed the following new students to the studio: Abraham, Evan, Desmond, Opal, Katherine and Lyric. Please say hello when your paths cross. Several students are working extra hard this summer to get ready for the CWU Sonatina festival: Kayla, Grace, Julian and Arielle. Keep up the great work!!
It is with sadness that I share the news of the death of a former student, Becky Smith Owens. After a valiant battle with cancer Becky passed away in July. Becky was my second piano student and went on to study music as a flute performance major receiving undergraduate degrees in nutrition and flute performance from SPU, and a masters in flute performance from the Ohio State University. I, along with Becky's husband, infant son, extended family and many, many friends will miss her. But her memory lives on and we know she is now playing in the greatest symphony there is...
